Hey Griswold, where are you going to put that tree?

I did it! I convinced Bryant to take me to the festival of trees this year! I had been only once when I was still in High School, my dance team performed there and I have always wanted to go back. It was for a good cause too. Everything at the festival is donated and 100% of the proceeds goes to benefit Primary Children's Hospital. So Wednesday afternoon, Bryant picked me up from school and we drove up to the southtown expo center.

This was a coke tree, taken with my grandma Peacock in mind, and the one on the right was actually my favorite tree, it was welded by a middle school's metals class.

A peacock tree (There were actually about 3 or 4 Peacock trees we found, and I just had to take a picture...)

Superhero tree!

Star wars

The Grinch! This one reminded me
of my brother Colter because he
Loves this movie and always quotes it.

Nightmare before Christmas

There were a lot more trees and I took a lot more pictures but for some reason its not letting me post them on here, so i'll probaby put the rest on my facebook withing the next few days.

In other news, I went to the ward relief society Christmas party last night. I have not really felt like a part of the Relief
Society because the first Sunday we moved here, we were
thrown into Primary so I have not been to relief society once in the last 6 months. I hung out with my mom and her friend Deanna Ostergaard the whole time, and it kind of bummed me out that very few people knew or remembered who I was. I had a lot of people say they didn't even know I was back. Bryant And I have briefly discussed finding a BYU ward or something to go to. We just don't have any married friends here and we don't really feel a part of this ward, especially since we have not even seen the bishop once, and the primary president thought we have only been here for a month. Oh well, we like our calling a lot, we love the kids, we just wish we had the opportunity to be more involved and included.

In happier news, only 21 days untill Christmas!!!
