A Weekend full of exciting news!

We Peacocks have had a pretty big weekend.
And some exciting things have happened!

Exciting news #1:

First off, Thursday night Bryant and I were hanging out with my family and my dad stepped out to go get the mail because no one had gotten it in a couple of days. When he came back, there were a few things for Bryant and I, and one was from RC Willey.

Now let me rewind a bit:

A couple of weeks ago, my Mom and I decided to enter ourselves into the RC Willey grand giveaway. You got a free set of knives from them if you entered, so we went and picked them up after we had done the baby registry and then I haven't thought anything of it since then. I was just excited that I got the free knives.

So, here I am with this letter from RC Willey and thinking it was just an advertisement of some sort, I jokingly said "Hey mom, it's from RC Willey! Maybe we won!"

Well, I opened that letter and had to read it a few times over to make sure I really understood what it was saying.

It was a letter informing me that I had won their grand prize!!!

This was the biggest thing I've ever won next to a free round of mini golf...

It's huge! It comes with a couch, a love seat, an ottoman, a 40 inch HDTV and I think an end table! You can imagine my excitement! I think Bryant and I are still in a state of shock!

Now, onto exciting news #2:

My youngest Brother Sawyer has been in the FFA program at his school for a couple of years now, and since he is a senior, he decided to try out for the FFA state office. This weekend he has been up at USU doing several interviews, tests and programs. Well, today they announced that he has been elected as the FFA state office sentinel!!! It's an incredibly long and difficult process to become a state officer and he has been working his bum off preparing for this! He definitely deserves it! I'm so stinkin' proud of this kid!

So this will basically be his job for the next year. He will be a part of the recruiting team and he will be traveling to different schools, some in different states, recruiting new FFA members.

Now to exciting news #3:

My little sister Sage had her national ballroom competition today and they took the gold medal!!!

I was lucky enough to get off work a bit early in order to run down to BYU and watch her. She's such a fun and animated dancer! She did really well on her individual competition too, but I think her partner was a little nervous. But Sage is the kind of girl who loves performing and isn't easily scared by anything!

My grandparents took Sage, Bryant and I out to celebrate at Iggys for lunch. It was such a fun and exciting day! I've got some hard working siblings! (well, except Colter, who is lounging on the beach in San Diego right now... his hard work starts next week with spring practice haha!)

All grown up!

Wednesday was my sweet little sister's 12th birthday!
I can't believe she's all grown up! I was 11 when she was born, I feel so old!
She will be in Jr. High next year! This seriously freaks me out...

Last night we went out to celebrate.
Every year, she chooses to go to the Mayan for dinner.
If you've never been there, it's a Mexican restaurant, themed like the Mayan jungle, complete with massive, working water fall with a diving show.

My brothers gave her the new Taylor Swift CD

And my parents gave her a Chia pet. I didn't know they still made these, let alone that my sister knew what they were and wanted one!
It's donkey from Shrek. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Bryant and I got her a gift card to the movie theater. She is always asking if we can take her to see a movie but we never seem to take the time to do it. She was excited and said she wants to go see Harry Potter!

And she got deep fried ice cream (burrito flavored ice cream, as my dad calls it) with a firework in it! That was pretty awesome too. We didn't know if you were supposed to blow it out or what, but after a minute or two it went out on it's own.

My brother and my Dad
My sister sharing her ice cream!

I for got to get a picture of my other brother. He brought a date to dinner and she was super nice and really cute! Hopefully she sticks around!

I also forgot to get a picture of my sister's whole outfit. My mom made her this adorable skirt and my sister looked beautiful!

I hope she had a great birthday because we had a lot of fun being with her!
Happy Birthday sweetheart!

My artsy little sister

I come from a pretty artistic family.
My dad is a traditional artist and is amazing!
In fact, everyone should check this out (there will be a whole blog on my dad and this art show coming up!)

My mom does graphic design and art and is a PRO at crafts and projects.

I, unfortunately didn't get the creative/art gene as strongly. I can only do a few doodles and sketches but I'm no pro. But my little sister Sage is well on her way to following in my parents footsteps.

Ever single time I see her, she is in the living room or in the kitchen doing something. She's either painting, drawing, knitting, sculpting, doing origami, cooking, or just about a million other things.

And she's only 11!

This year, she decided to enter into the reflections contest at school. Reflections is a program where kids can enter a project, whether it be a film, dance, music, photography, drawing, painting or 3D object and it goes along with the theme for that year. This years theme was "together we can".

Last night was the open house to go see all of the entries. My little sister did a 3D sculpture

(its the pink, blue and yellow one on the end)

And a painting

Check out that medal!!!

After she painted it, she wasn't too sure about it, so my dad had her watch a documentary on Jackson Pollock.

I was so proud of her. She really is such a creative little girl and she still has so much room to develop and expand her artistic talent.

In other news, I have been so sick since last Saturday. I went in to the doctors on Monday and they ended up losing my lab results and it was a big old hassle, which most of you have already heard on Facebook so I'm not going to go into it.

Anyways, I've been feeling better off and on the last 2 days. I'll wake up sick, then feel better by around 11am, which means I'm on the mend at least. Last night I was feeling a lot better so I decided to go to Bryant's football game since I had to miss his one last week.

They played really well and won! Woo! Despite the fact that it was absolutely freezing! However, because I was out in the cold, my cold came back. I felt awful this morning, so I crawled back into bed after some cereal and a dose of Robitussin. Needless to say, I'm feeling much better!
My hubby is so handsome when he's all geared up for football!

And these two really annoying girls next to me spent the first half of the game wondering why there were 2 Stokes on the team. They were thinking that maybe one was a copycat, or one had borrowed the jersey from the other, or one was a nickname. They didn't realize that Bryant and Tyler are Brothers haha! I like that they came up with the most ridiculous theories first when anyone else would have figured it out pretty quick.

Also, they were annoying me by rating how hot all the players were. What was this? High school?

Also, I'm 19 weeks along today! Almost half way there! Also, Bryant got to feel the baby kick yesterday!!!
